July 31, 2004Veteran Swiss hard rockers KROKUS have entered the studio (photo) to begin pre-production for their follow-up to 2003's "Rock the Block", tentatively due in early 2005. "Today they made a first selection of ... 30 songs!" reads a posting on the band's web site. "Some great material! We will keep you informed over the next weeks and months so stay tuned!"
As previously reported, KROKUS will tour the United States throughout this fall for the first time in nearly 15 years with vocalist Marc Storace and guitarist Fernando von Arb reunited. Over the past 25 years, KROKUS have sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, the bulk of those recordings being sold in the U.S. Now, they prepare to return to the scene of some of the band's most historic triumphs after completing a European tour, which has already begun.
The reformation of the band's most successful core, Storace and von Arb, also includes Patrick Aeby (drums),Dominique Fave (guitar) and Tony Castell (bass) and promises to be a special treat for longtime fans of this legendary band. Tour dates will be announced shortly.
